TELEVIZE ESTRÁDA is an artistic group that combines puppet theatre, film, performance and other media formats into one interconnected fictional world. This universe is inhabited by the television employees themselves and other unique characters such as the producer Karel, the content dramaturge Kamil, the Angděl Strážný, Strýček Grácio, pan Limetka, Naháč či dobrosrdečný mediální magnát František Jelínek. Televize Estráda’s repertoire of material collage includes everything from miniature liquor bottles to Lamborghinis with 3D printed bodies. At the heart of the spectacle across the projects undertaken is a live-action puppet show that unabashedly combines uncompromising beer humour with an eye for detail. Televize Estráda’s work, despite its diversity, is accessible to the audience and does not aspire to make a distinction between gourmet and gourmand in the context of animation.
