Barrier-free RFP

We have been making the festival accessible to the widest possible range of visitors for a long time. This way, we can all enjoy the music experience and festival atmosphere together, regardless of age, gender, orientation or disability.

This year at Rock for People we are also thinking about accessibility. For example, the area will include a relaxation zone for people with disabilities and their companions. Here visitors will find facilities for rest and refreshment, a meeting area or a place to recharge their electric wheelchairs. This zone will include wheelchair-accessible toilets and showers on the EuroKey. The wheelchair accessible relaxation zone will be manned and can be found marked on the festival map.

Raised platforms will be placed at the two main open-air stages (KB Stage and Tesco Stage) for a better view of the stage. There will be lockable accessible toilets with a numerical code scattered around the venue. They will also be part of a dedicated camping area. They will give you the number code either in the relax tent or at the information desk.

Accesible parking is available – please follow the directions when arriving at the property.

In the non-profit zone, you can support the activities of the Star Bazaar, a training centre for wheelchair users and a charity second hand shop run by CZEPA (Czech Paraplegic Association). Just buy a t-shirt designed by Czech tattoo artists or buy a trendy second hand piece. This way you will support CZEPA and give the clothes a second chance. And watch out! This year, you can also buy limited edition Rock for People T-shirts at this booth!

On Friday, June 13, the Czech Paralympic team will be hosting a program at the relaxation tent. Come and try out the sport of laser pistol shooting, boccia or how challenging it is to ride a handbike. And meet the athletes who represented the Czech Republic at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
