The sound of a great band with the wind in their sails cannot be mistaken for anything. Bleed From Within have been a strong and reliable fixture on the UK metal scene for seventeen years, but recently the Scottish quintet have been gaining in confidence and status. With their latest single, Hands of Sin, and 2022’s Shrine, they are shattering all previous expectations.
Bleed From Within formed in Glasgow in 2005. The band kicked off their career with a metalcore explosion and quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most prominent bands in the genre. With a sound that draws from a variety of extreme sub-genres and an unwavering talent for crafting anthemic and powerful melodies, the Scotsmen sounded like a finished article on their 2009 debut album Humanity. With each subsequent album, however, the formation has evolved and gained momentum since its inception. Records like Empire (2010) and Uprising (2013) released under a major label have cemented their reputation, while extensive touring and an increasingly elaborate live show continue to proclaim a noble dedication to bringing their music directly to the masses.
