We’re Rare Americans – animated storytellers focused on the real and raw. We sing for the underdogs and don’t shy away from life’s toughest corners. Over the past five years, we’ve built a pretty dope community of kids around the world.

We’ve come a long way in the past few years with over 650M streams, sold out tours across North America and Europe and even a Juno nomination last year for “Breakthrough Group of the Year” – Canada’s equivalent of a Grammy. We’re just hitting our stride and and 2024 is shaping up to be our most ambitious year yet – 2 albums followed by a 90 minute animated punk rock musical (which is premiering at the legendary Annecy Film Festival in France this June).

This upcoming album explores the complexities of the human experience, delving into our multifaceted nature. Man is a curious beast. We are opportunists with many sides, vibrant and colorful. Our capacity for cooperation has made us the most successful species of all time, yet we also possess a capacity for unimaginable evil.

Rare Americans are drawn to complexity. Our fans know to expect the unexpected: no two songs are alike. This album cycle is no exception and spans a broad spectrum of sounds, styles, and emotions, all while pushing us both mentally and physically with the pace we’ve challenged ourselves to achieve – a true reflection of the human animal.
