After a phenomenal headlining performance at Rock for People 2024, the one and only The Offspring are back with a solo show and, most importantly, a supercharged new album SUPERCHARGED as part of The Offspring: Supercharged Worldwide in ’25 Tour. They will be accompanied on tour by popular Canadian rockers and hitmakers SIMPLE PLAN, who need no further introduction to Czech music fans. The pair of now legendary bands will perform on October 2 in Prague’s Sportovní hala Fortuna.

The Offspring are an American punk-rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984 and celebrating an incredible 40 years on the music scene this year. Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the line-up consists of singer and guitarist Dexter Holland, guitarist Noodles, bassist Todd Morse, drummer Brandon Pertzborn and multi-instrumentalist Jonah Nimoy. They have released ten studio albums during their long career. The Offspring are often credited – alongside other Californian bands such as Green Day and Rancid – with expanding punk rock into the global mainstream with hits such as “The Kids Aren’t Alright”, “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid”, “Self Esteem”, “Why Don’t You Get A Job?” and dozens more. They have sold over 40 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling punk rock bands in history.

One of the most successful punk-rock bands of all time returns to the Czech Republic for the thirteenth time, including three appearances at the Rock for People festival and several open-air headline shows. In addition to his singing and songwriting talents, The Offspring frontman Dexter Holland holds a PhD in molecular biology, with which he has garnered extra-musical success and lectured around the world. As a result, he also accepted an invitation to appear on Czech Television’s Hyde Park Civilization live with host Daniel Stach at this year’s Rock for People 2024 festival.
