Inspiring X Ambassadors return to the Czech Republic after a successful show at Rock for People 2023
February 2024 will be marked by big names under the Rock for People Concerts banner. The portfolio of club concerts will be completed by alt-rock favourites X Ambassadors, who recently delighted their fans with the newly released single “Friend for Life”. The creative musicians from Ithaca and tireless fighters for the blind community will perform at SaSaZ on February 21.
Premium ticket pre-sale for RfP app holders will start at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5. Ticket sales to the general public start on October 6 at 11:00am at GoOut and Ticketmaster.
Led by brothers Sam (vocals) and Casey (keyboards, vocals) Harris, X Ambassadors made a dent in the music world with their debut album VHS in 2015. In fact, their very first record marked the band’s transformation from Ithaca alt-rockers and outsiders of the Brooklyn indie scene into American hitmakers and idols. The album VHS reflects the events that shaped the Harris brothers’ lives while growing up in Ithaca, New York, and was also certified platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). It also provided an intimate look at Sam and Casey Harris’ youth, as well as the genre-defying hits “Unsteady” and “Renegades,” and led to a three-year odyssey around the world and a number of major festival appearances.
The band’s frontman Sam Harris is inspired by his brother Casey, who has been blind since childhood. “Casey has always been such an inspirational person to me, given all the challenges and what he’s had to go through himself.” Says Sam. “He has a super ability to just be eternally grateful for everything he has in life. I’ve never seen anything like it in anyone.”
