After amassing over 150 million streams and gaining widespread acclaim, YONAKA begins the next chapter with the release of their upcoming EP “Welcome To My House”, out now via LAVA/Republic Records.

Sound bends to the whims of emotion. For YONAKA, the music changes with the moods. Distortion pulses with tension in moments of heavy catharsis, only to return in an electronic exhale.
Theresa explains the EP’s theme, “Each song represents a memory or emotion that is inside me. All the experiences I’ve gone through have spent time inside my house and consumed me. When the EP is called “Welcome To My House”, visually I want the listener to be able to open the door, enter my world and see what each song meant to me at that time in my life.”
“I hope you feel empowered, heard and that you are not alone in listening to it,” Theresa states. “Hearing other people’s stories has helped me heal and grow, and I’d like to be that light for others.”
