The British band of rockers and pop-punkers consisting of Josh Franceschi (vocals), Max Helyer (guitar), Chris Miller (guitar), Matt Barnes (bass) and Dan Flint (drums) came out with their last album “Truth Decay”, after which the band decided to call it quits to pay tribute to themselves and their long career. “We are at our best when all five of us are on the frontline, living it and breathing it, all five of us swinging, putting their creativity into it,” says Franceschi. “That’s what you get from Truth Decay.” Towards the end of their career, the band realized that if they wanted to make the best punk-pop-rock record of their career, they had to be as emotionally honest as possible and face the pain head-on. That’s also why the band decided to call the album Truth Decay. “It’s the understanding and acceptance that there’s a beauty in the breakdown,” explains Franceschi. “Sometimes something can seem so obvious and clear but, actually, when you tear away at it a little bit, you realise it’s not as simple as you thought.

You Me At Six has toured extensively, with appearances on Warped Tour, Soundwave, and has toured with Thirty Seconds to Mars, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, All Time Low and Bring Me the Horizon, among others. You Me At Six won the award for Best British Band at the Kerrang! Awards in 2011. The band’s influences include American rock bands Blink-182, Incubus, Thrice and British rock band Arctic Monkeys.
