Last year, Alice Merton released her second album ‘S.I.D.E.S.’ which featured ‘Vertigo’, ‘Same Team’ or ‘The Other Side’. The campaign has seen Alice raise the bar from what she achieved with her debut album ‘Mint’ (billion+ streams, Top 10 chart positions across Europe, becoming a winning judge on ‘The Voice of Germany’) with some of her biggest live moments playing Coachella, Sziget and Lollapalooza, including a US tour with Bastille in 2022, a career-defining orchestral concert of her biggest songs with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, and being named as Jo Whiley’s infatuation on Radio 2.
Following the release of the album, Alice played 25 shows in eleven countries in the UK and Europe last autumn. Playing live is something she never took for granted but being able to reconnect with fans and play the new songs for them has been one of the best experiences of Alice’s career. That is why she dedicated her new song ‘Waste my life’ (20 January 2023) to her fans. A song she introduced on her tour and marks the next chapter of her career. A chapter that brings us new music but also many concerts and festival shows all over the world.
