Aneta Langerová is a distinctive Czech singer and musician. She became one of the most popular Czech singers soon after her victory in the competition Czech Search for SuperStar. In pursuit of pure authenticity, she embarked on a journey to write her own songs. Michal Hrůza was the first to help her discover her songwriting potential. Aneta’s sophisticated arrangements and distinctive vocals heralded success with fans and critics alike. Of her four nominations for the 2014 ANDĚL AWARDS, she turned all of them into angel statuettes and succeeded three times in the fan poll Žebřík 2014.
She is also involved in other activities. Every year she helps to clean the Sázava River and for almost 10 years she has been a patron of the Světluška project. Aneta has so far released four albums in a row. In 2011, she fulfilled her dream when she embarked on an acoustic tour called A Few Places, on which she was accompanied by a string trio. In 2017, the DVD and CD “Na vlně radosti” was released with a live recording of a concert at the Forum Karlín in Prague, which celebrated the singer’s two years “Na Radosti” at the end of 2016. In September 2018, she contributed musically to the release of the audiobook of the British writer Fynn “Pane Bůh, tady Anna”, narrated by Bára Hrzánová.
“Concerts are a wonderful experience for me. I’m surrounded by people I feel really good with. I have been looking for them for a long time and I believe that our harmony is evident on stage. The same harmony exists backstage. Every time we meet the fans, it gives us incredible energy. We try to return the joy to people,” says Aneta Langerová.
