The Spanish alternative metal band ANKOR features a truly international lineup: it consists of frontwoman and screamer Jessie Williams (UK) and drummer Eleni Nota (Greece), alongside guitarists and vocalists David Romeu and Fito Martinez, and bassist Julio López (Spain). The band masterfully blends a metal concert with a rave party, making their performances some of the most engaging and energetic on the scene.

The project was formed in 2003 near Barcelona when its members were still teenagers. Over 19 years and five albums later, ANKOR has become a true phenomenon and a national benchmark of the Spanish scene.

In 2014, ANKOR was voted Best Newcomer of the Year by the readers of La Heavy (Heavy Rock/Kerrang), the oldest and most prestigious rock magazine in Spain and Latin America. The albums Beyond the Silence of These Years (2017) and White Dragon (2019) elevated the band to a new level, allowing ANKOR to embark on their own headline tours across Europe and Asia.
