Dukla is a Prague-based band playing guitar pop that carries the legacy of new wave, post punk, 90’s guitar bands and contemporary club music. They have released a number of singles, several EPs and the album Honza, for which they received positive feedback and a nomination for the Apollo Music Awards for Record of the Year 2020.
The band released their new album Same Better on February 16, 2024 under the Bumbum Satori label. The release of the album, which also has a physical form in the form of vinyl, was associated with an extensive spring Czech-Slovak tour. On the new album, there is a noticeable shift towards more clubby music, but without abandoning what is typical for them – expressive melodies and nostalgic lyrics that reflect city life with an admitted naivety.
