Glare are an alternative rock and shoegaze trio from Texas’ Rio Grande Valley. Since their debut in 2017, the band has quickly built a strong reputation both at home and abroad, thanks to singles such as “Blank” and “Void in Blue.”
With their EP Heavenly (2021), they have moved towards a richer sound palette, combining some of their hardest and most dreamy compositions. Musically, they evoke bands such as Slowdive, Cocteau Twins, and Drop Nineteens. Glare is now at the forefront of the contemporary guitar scene, standing out with their elegance, grace, and natural charm. Their debut album Sunset Funeral (2025) is considered one of the most successful debuts of recent years.
