Hollow Suns from Japan formed in 2014 and quickly caught the scene’s attention with their self-released, self-titled debut EP in 2015. They steadily climbed the ranks of the Japanese music scene until 2019, when they signed with the Texas-based label Sunday Drive Records.
For them, touring is a second home. They have already hit the road alongside heavyweights such as Country Yard, Shadows, The Story So Far, Nothing, and Rival Schools. A major turning point in their career came with the 2019 EP Into the Water, where they weren’t afraid to lean into grunge influences. The record was praised as straightforward punk rock, yet interwoven with the band’s unique musical signature. Their debut full-length album, Otherside, recorded with renowned producer Will Yip, followed in 2022.
