James Cole is a Czech singer, rapper, musician, and poet. His signature trait is his unmistakable honeyed yet gritty voice, which has been filling the airwaves for over 20 years. He is known for his endless need to experiment and tends toward alternative and unconventional creative paths.
He is a member of the legendary rap group Supercrooo; in 2009, he released an album under the alter ego Kapitán Láska, and in the intervening years, up to the present day, he has released 15 albums. His latest is the album Done, on which he collaborated with Idea. For this joint album, they won the Anděl Award in two categories. The album is a deeply personal confession by James Cole, where family and sobriety take center stage instead of chains.
