letlive. isn’t just a band, they are a force of nature. Formed back in 2002, they quickly became the most energetic and emotionally charged band on the alternative music scene. Frontman Jason Aalon Butler isn’t just a vocalist, he is the dynamic and passionate core that brought together the seemingly incompatible – hardcore, punk, R&B, and soul.
Their breakthrough album, Fake History (2010), immediately garnered critical acclaim thanks to its unadulterated, primal power and innovative sound, earning the band a loyal fanbase. They soon signed with Epitaph Records, where they released further hits like The Blackest Beautiful (2013) and If I’m The Devil… (2016). On these records, they tackled topics that still resonate today – social justice, personal struggles, and self discovery – with relentless honesty and creativity.
Letlive. are legendary mainly for their live performances. And now, they are returning to the Czech Republic to deliver an unforgettable show at Rock for People featuring the original lineup of Jason Aalon Butler (vocals), Jeff Sahyoun (guitar) and Jean Nascimento (guitar). They will be joined by Sage Webber (Point North) on drums and Skyler Acord (Issues) on bass guitar.
