Since 2017, this spacey instrumental post metal that will grab you by the hand as you fall off the cliff is on the scene. That’s also how you could describe Monsters & Motherships’ work. M&M’s work uses a musical palette based on futuristic dystopian imagery and
melancholic moods.

The foundation on which they build their material consists of energetic percussion and biting electric guitars backed by distorted bass. The guys are no strangers to vibrancy and energy, as this trio has been in several metalcore and post-hardcore outfits.

M&M have had the privilege of playing alongside bands such as Napoleon (UK) and The Dali Thundering Concept (NL). Genre-wise they could be categorized as progressive post rock/metal and would appeal to fans of bands like God Is An Astronaut, Toska, Night Verses or
Russian Circles.

It helps their music a lot that they add other genres to it, post rock, crossover, it all comes through and the listener doesn’t slip into the mass of monotony that hangs over instrumental bands like the sword of Damocles.
