What happens when there’s no rap? What happens when there’s no PSH? PSH are a certainty and also a definition of Czech hip hop, which they have been setting the face of since the early 90s of the last century. Under the name Peneři Strýčka Homeboye, their foundation dates back to about 1991, when Orion wrote the first lyrics, and a few years later they were recorded into instrumentals by a friend from the housing estate, Shitness.
He also meets DJ Wich, and the line-up of Orion, Vladimir 518 & DJ Richard releases the first PSH album – Repertoár. Richard is eventually replaced by the young and raucous Trafik, who also takes on the role of chief producer, and the band takes a new direction. Completed at that time on the second album, Rap n Roll. Meanwhile, Orion manages to take a solo detour to his Territories, Vladimir is mostly engaged in activities around the label’s creation, Trafik settles in his home Star Works studio, and slowly but surely, the ground is being prepared for the third and last album Epilog for now. The title of the last one belongs to him till today, although all 3 of them are collaborating with each other on other projects, and they never ruled out another joint album apart from the announcement in the Epilog promos. Between 2010 and 2019, they released a number of singles including Fuck Off, Vice, Já to říkal…
PSH released their “last” album in the fall of 2019, titled Debut.
PSH will perform a Rock for People special with a full live band this time!
