Teige is an alternative-pop band based in Prague. Having expanded from a trio to a five-piece, they released their debut album květiny nonstop in the fall of 2025. The record, which originated in the band’s hometown of Kutná Hora, earned them a nomination for Discovery of the Year at the Vinyla Music Awards and was met with widespread critical acclaim.
In their lyrics, Teige navigate the threshold between late adolescence and the expectations of life beyond the borders of their small-town roots. Their melancholic soundscapes combine synth textures with guitar lines and a distinctive female vocal, all complemented by Czech lyrics.
The core of the band consists of the songwriting duo Veronika Sirotková (vocals, keyboards) and Adam Sirotek (guitar, vocals). Teige’s lineup also features Dominika Albrechtová (vocals, keyboards), Mikuláš Bébr (bass), and Lukáš Brabec (drums).
