In addition to numerous recordings and an unforgettable series of concerts, always a unique and unforgettable experience for the audience, the Šufunky Gang has also accumulated countless successes in music competitions during its existence. Starting with second place at the first CocaCola Popstar 2003, third place at Rockfest in Dobříš, success at Harendacup in Třinec and second place in the final round of Šance Muzikus 2023. According to knowledgeable fans and newly arrived listeners, the band is currently in top form both musically and creatively, and after their last album “Zabít Jazz” from 2022, they are now working intensively on new material.
However, the Šufunky Gang’s greatest asset remains its live shows, always done with the utmost commitment and perhaps now with even more energy and grace than in the past. The charismatic and energetic frontman Bronislav Neradil, the guitar battery of Radek Bula Svoboda and Kamil Def Podhorný, the unstoppable drum bulldozer from the days of the Premier’s greatest glory Pavel Car Ivanovský and of course one of the most prominent bass engines of the Czech music scene, skillfully hidden under the hood of the funkyrock machine, Captain Pedro alias Pe or Péečko.
