Dear fans,
we are aware of many ongoing speculations by politicians, hygienists and other public figures in the media regarding summer music festivals and other events including Rock for People. Certainly, that can make you nervous and we understand that we owe you an official statement.
These times are difficult for us and other event organizers, but we are doing our best regardless. A couple of potential scenarios are in the pipeline and we are waiting for the Government of the Czech Republic to comment on the conditions of support for live art by the Ministry of Culture. Without the official approval from the authorities, we cannot make a unilateral decision because we would risk breaking contractual obligations to performers and partners. We hope that the situation will be clarified once the pandemic response plan is prepared.
We carry on with festival preparations and none of the bands have canceled their participation yet. Thank you very much for your messages showing us full support and we are sorry we can’t answer many of your questions yet. You will be updated on recent development no later than by April 30, 2020. Please be patient and keep your fingers crossed. We can do it together and we can do it for you.
