Rock for People is an inclusive festival. It is open to everyone regardless of age, gender, faith, disability… or dietary habits. Indeed, we understand that food allergies, intolerances, beliefs or diets may raise the logical question when planning a festival: will I eat there?
We want to be able to answer yes to that question! That’s why this year we started cooperation with the social innovation project “Gluten Free Czech Republic“, which aims to find out the real needs of celiacs in the Czech Republic. Together with them and for them the project team is building a new service called TANDEM 3. It is intended to make life easier for many celiacs of all ages, with an emphasis on their health immediately after diagnosis or in the first years of life with a gluten-free diet. With a clear vision to expand the #glutenfree offer, the project motivates and educates restaurants and gastro operations. After all, there are many barriers for celiacs when travelling away from home. It’s time to break them down at RfP too!
Thanks to our cooperation with “Gluten Free Czech Republic” we invited bistros and gastro operators with gluten-free offer to the festival. And some of them nodded to participate! At the same time, we have developed a detailed guide to help other restaurants and bistros include gluten-free dishes in their menu.
Come and see that gluten-free does not mean tasteless. Tastings, advice, education. At their gastro stall during the festival, you can try gluten-free menus created with a gluten-free diet in mind or for people suffering from wheat intolerance. Advice for celiacs and coeliacs will also be available throughout the time. On Saturday, the influencer Martina Rýznarová aka Mlsám bez lepku will arrive and on Sunday you can look forward to the director of the Celiac Club East Bohemia, Petra Srdínková. Both ladies have a lot to give not only to celiacs!
