Rock for People 2026 will be CASHLESS once again—and this year brings a brand-new top-up option: directly from your phone during the festival!

We listened to your feedback, and together with NFCtron, we looked for a way to make it happen. And we found it!
In addition to the classic way of topping up your ticket online from the comfort of your home before the festival (WHICH IS NOW LIVE), we are introducing a brand-new feature: you can now also top up online directly on-site during the festival and skip the lines completely! You can do this right from the NFCtron app on your NFC-enabled smartphone. Of course, the option to top up physically at the on-site NFCtron top-up points will still be available.
Paying with NFCtron will be fast, transparent, and above all, secure. You will pay at all vendors simply by tapping your wristband with a chip against their sales device. After every transaction, the vendor will show you the device screen displaying the amount deducted and your remaining balance.
The festival will be completely cashless. ALL payments will be made exclusively via the NFC chip wristband. Your wristband will also serve as your festival ticket.
Another new feature this year is that your spending overview will be synced with the official RFP app—you will be able to see and track all your festival transactions directly inside our app!
