We enjoy bringing quality music, and we appreciate it even more when we can be there when the music helps those in need. At a recent concert we hosted by the great Papa Roach, we managed to raise over 120,000 CZK, which will go to support the work of the non-profit organization Nepustut duši.
After all, Papa Roach have been vocal supporters of mental health since their breakthrough hit “Last Resort”. “We have always loved performing in the Czech Republic, and the opportunity to financially support those who care about mental health in your country means a lot to us. Thank you for all the help you have given us to ‘shine a light’ on this mission around the world,” comments Papa Roach. We appreciate that a band of this size is tackling the topic of mental health, which is so relevant today,” adds Michal Thomes, founder of the organizing agency Ameba Production (Rock for People, RFP Concerts).
The donation will support the activities of Nevypusť duši, which focuses on mental health awareness and prevention, and aims to make the conversation about this topic part of everyday life in modern society, where no one is ashamed to ask for help. “We are so grateful to Papa Roach and Rock for People for their generous donation to help us educate children and teens this year and for opening up the topic and spreading it to their fans. Together, we are creating a world where everyone knows how to take care of their soul,” says Aneta Bruner, Communications Manager for Nevypusť duši.
