You asked for it, you got it. Last year’s questionnaire showed that you wanted more meatless and plant-based food. 25% of you did! So we went ahead and joined forces with ProVeg. And you know what? We did it! You’ll find several booths with purely plant-based offerings at the festival this year.
ProVeg is an international organization committed to a world where everyone chooses delicious and healthy food that is good for all people, animals and our planet. That’s why they have partnered with this year’s festival to offer a more diverse plant-based menu. Because we share the same goals.
We believe that through food we can actively reduce our carbon footprint. Not only the festival’s, but also our personal one. We have set climate goals for 2030, which we will gradually meet. And you can help us with them by choosing your food! We want you not only to enjoy, but also to ensure that the gastronomic experience is not redeemed by irresponsible sourcing, the devastation of nature or unfair rewards for primary producers (growers, breeders, raw material processors, etc.).
That’s why our goal is to include organic and fairtrade food and raw materials in our menu, increasing the proportion of meat-free and plant-based food or linking up with suppliers from the region (thus shortening the distance food has to travel before it reaches the plate).
You can look forward to organic tempeh burgers from Soyka, plant-based sushi at Foxy Rolls, noodles and burgers from Pan Hrášek, falafel, wraps and tabouleh at Carrotka Vegan Truck, and renowned street food and desserts from Palo Verde. Where to head for this sumptuous menu? To the Komerční banka zone, the festival’s general partner.
This year, there is something for everyone!
