Before you leave the festival grounds, we’ve prepared a few tips for places that are definitely worth a visit. The Hradec area is full of hidden gems – places we love to escape to when we’re not at the festival or in the office. Here’s our personal selection – where will you go?

Just hop on a bike and within minutes, you’re surrounded by trees. A popular route is the circuit through the Hradec forests with rest stops and gazebos, leading all the way to Biřička pond.

“I spent my childhood at a cottage in the Orlické Mountains, in a village called Nebeská Rybná. We often went on trips in the area, and the most magical place for me remains the charming village of Neratov near the Polish border. There’s a church there that burned down at the end of WWII and was rebuilt with a unique glass roof. It’s definitely a place with a special atmosphere!”
From there, you can easily access the Orlické Mountains ridges, whether on foot or by bike.

Rocks, silence, forests, cool valley air, and sweeping views – Broumovsko is perfect when you need to disconnect from civilization. Besides the famous Adršpach, there are lesser-known spots like Ostaš or Teplické Rocks, which are well worth a visit.

About 30 minutes from Hradec, you’ll find Častolovice chateaux – a great spot for a relaxing afternoon. In addition to touring the castle, you can stroll through the park, which even has a small petting zoo.
