Rock for People 2025 through the lens of Tomáš Třeštík

We all know Tomáš Třeštík’s legendary balcony photos. Before this year’s 30th anniversary, Tomáš came up with the idea of capturing the festival in a slightly different and unique way. No stages or crowds, just black and white, stylized, raw, and to the core. Artists, festival crew, and visitors.

This resulted in a unique series of portraits of personalities without whom Rock for People would not exist! We set up a fully equipped photo studio right backstage at the festival, and now we bring you the result—ROCK FOR PEOPLE 2025 through the eyes and lens of Tomáš Třeštík!

“Music is an integral part of my life and work, and when I came up with a project to combine my work environment with the festival microcosm, I approached Rock for People with it. I am very happy that they boldly accepted my idea and we joined forces. I am personally very pleased with the result. Not only did I enjoy the photo shoot, but so did the subjects, who came to our studio out of curiosity, because you don’t see something like this every day. It was a truly unforgettable five days, and I look forward to seeing what else we can come up with in the future, perhaps as part of a longer-term project. Just the way I like it…” – Tomáš Třeštík
