Instructions on how to use the Yedem app for dummies:

Get on board! How to get started using the Yedem ride sharing app in a nice step by step way.

Step 1: Registration

• Download the iOS or Android app. Alternatively, go to carpool.yedem.io.
• Use the code jedurfp to register.
• Fill in the required details such as your name and contact information.

Step 2: Create a ride

• Once you are logged in, click the (+) button /add a ride/.
• Enter your departure and destination = Rock for People in Hradec Králové.
• Set the date, time of departure and arrival to the festival. Please tick to avoid repeating the ride.
• You also need to select that you are not going back the same day and create a new route for the return journey.
• Determine if you are looking for a passenger or if you want to join someone else’s ride.
• If you are the driver, enter the maximum acceptable detour.

Step 3: Adding and finding fellow passengers

• Once you’ve created a ride, it will appear on your profile in the My Trips section.
• The app will automatically suggest possible travel companions who have similar travel plans, you will see these in the Connections section.
• You can browse rides and send a ride sharing request.

Step 4: Communication and confirmation

• Once you have found suitable travel companions, ask to be connected. Once the other party accepts, contact details will be sent to you so you can work out the details of the trip.
• Agree on all the details of the trip, including the meeting point and cost share.
• Keep in contact until the day of departure.

Step 5: Travel and enjoy the festival

• Meet at the agreed location and enjoy the journey to the festival with new or existing friends.
• Don’t forget to rate your fellow travellers along the way so that the app can provide better service in the future.

The Yedem app is available on the App Store and Google Play. You can use the web interface to access features without downloading the app.
