Yedem app instructions for dummies:
Step 1: Registration
- Download the iOS or Android app.
- Use the code jedurfp to register.
- Fill in the required details – your name, contact and car information if you want to be a driver.
Step 2: Create a ride
- Once you’re logged in, select a day and click the Schedule a Ride button.
- Enter your departure location and destination = Rock for People in Hradec Králové (it’s already pre-populated in the list – just click).
- Select the time of arrival to the festival.
- Determine if you are looking for a passenger or if you want to join someone else on the ride.
- If you are the driver, enter the maximum acceptable detour.
Step 3: Adding and finding fellow passengers
Once created, the ride will appear for the selected day in the main dashboard.
The app will automatically suggest possible travel companions who have similar travel plans.
If you want to be a co-passenger, check out the options via the View Co-Passengers button.
If you want to be the driver, wait for someone to join you on the ride.
Step 4: Communication and confirmation
Once you’ve found a suitable passenger, ask to be connected. Once the other party accepts, contact information will be sent to you so you can work out the details of the trip.
Agree on all the details of the trip, including the meeting point and cost share.
Keep in contact until the day of departure.
Step 5: Travel and enjoy the festival
Meet at the agreed location and enjoy the journey to the festival with new or existing friends.
