Transport

Instead of making a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, you probably won’t be impressed by the Rock for People walking tour. But we’d love it if you used one of the cleaner modes of transport – public, shared or low-emission – on your way to RfP.

You can arrive by bike. We have racks and you don’t have to carry tents. You and your group can lay your head in the equipped RfP Tent Hotel, the spacious teepee, the Chill Village yurt or the Novatop camping tent with a canopy. This year, the legendary Cycling Ride will set off again from Prague via Kolín towards Hradec Králové. Join the cycling tour!

Don’t have your own bike? Rent a nextbike! Thanks to our partnership with nextbike, trips from the centre of Hradec Králové to the festival and back will be completely free of charge. Just download the app on your mobile phone and pedal. Instructions on how to rent a bike can be found here.

You and your group can arrive in bulk by train or long-distance bus. With ČD, you can get a 30% discount on your return ride as part of the Vlak+ Rock for People offer. Instructions on how to redeem it can be found here. Once in Hradec Kralove, you can continue on the festival shuttle to the main train station or bus terminal. This is completely free for you!

Maybe you are planning to drive. Fill it up! Offer a ride or fill in the crew. You’ll share the cost of the trip, meet new faces, and still save the planet by reducing emissions. We’ll make it easy for you this year! Thanks to our partnership with startup Yedem, you’ll find it easier to find – just download the Yedem app and pair up. Details and instructions can be found here.

And what are we doing?

  • This year’s main clean mobility partner is once again Toyota. A full shuttle service for bands and VIPs will be provided by a fleet of low-emission vehicles – including the Toyota bZ4X battery electric car or the Toyota Mirai hydrogen electric car.
  • The most common way to get around the grounds during the festival is on foot, on bicycles, scooters or electric scooters from Sencor.
  • This year we will also be using cargo bikes for supplying stalls and transporting small equipment. These are lent to us by Švihé synku.
  • Larger loads, sorted waste or groups of people will be transported by electric trucks from the EcoCars fleet.
  • We are forming local partnerships and looking for regional suppliers to reduce mileage.
