Instead of making a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, you probably won’t be impressed by the Rock for People walking tour. But we’d love it if you could use one of the cleaner modes of transport – public, shared or low-emission – on your way to RfP.
You can arrive by bike. We have racks and you don’t have to carry tents. You and your group can lay your head in the equipped RfP Tent Hotel, the spacious teepee, the Chill Village yurt or the Novatop wood & canvas Tent. This year, the legendary Cycling Ride will once again set off from Prague via Kolín towards Hradec Králové. Join the cycling tour!
Don’t have your own bike? Rent a nextbike! Thanks to our partnership with nextbike, trips from the centre of Hradec Králové to the festival and back will be completely free of charge. All you have to do is download the app on your mobile phone and pedal. Instructions on how to rent a bike can be found here. In 2023, 8,806 km were cycled on nextbike bikes during the festival and 1,379 kg of CO2 was saved (comparing the same distance cycled by car)!
You can arrive by public train or long-distance bus. Once in Hradec Králové, you can take the festival shuttle to the main train station or bus terminal and continue to the festival grounds. This is completely free for you!
Maybe you are planning to drive. Fill it up! Offer a ride or fill in the crew. You’ll share the cost of the trip, meet new faces, and still save the planet by reducing emissions. We’ll make it easy for you this year! Thanks to our partnership with startup Yedem, you’ll find it easier to find – just download the Yedem app (available May 22) and pair up. Details and instructions can be found here.
And what are we doing?
