8-11/6/23 Hradec Králové Park 360

Instead of making a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, you probably won’t be impressed by the Rock for People walking tour. But we’d really love it if you took one of the cleaner modes of transport – public, shared or emission-free.

You can even arrive by bike. We have racks, and you don’t have to lug around tents. You and your group can lay your head in the well-equipped RfP Tent Hotel, a spacious teepee, a Chill Village yurt or a camp tent with a canopy.

Don’t have your own bike? Rent a Nextbike! Trips to and from the festival will be completely free thanks to Nextbike’s bike share partnership. Just download the app to your phone and pedal away. Instructions on how to rent a bike can be found here. In 2022, 2,996 km were cycled on Nextbike bikes during the festival, which means that cycling (instead of public transport) saved a beautiful 100 kg of CO2! The ride is free for you within 45 minutes.

You can arrive in bulk by train or long-distance bus. Thanks to our partnership with Czech Railways, you can take advantage of a 30% discount on the return journey as part of the Train+ Rock for People offer. Details here. Once in Hradec Kralove, you can continue to the main train station or bus terminal via the festival shuttle to the venue. This is completely free for you!

Maybe you are planning to drive. Fill it up! Offer a ride, or find one in the Facebook event we’ll be setting up soon for carpooling purposes. You’ll share the cost of the trip, meet new faces, and still save the planet by reducing emissions.
