12-15/06/24 Hradec Králové
Park 360

The Komerční banka │ Visa FutureFest 2030 zone will take visitors to Rock for People to the future – near and yet so far from the present. With its programme, design or technology, it will show possible forms of how we will live, live, study or enjoy our leisure time perhaps in just a few years.

Everything you will see and experience in this unmissable zone has one common denominator – sustainability and responsibility. To the environment and to each other.

The zone combines a supercharged live programme with a host of distinguished guests and hostesses with a relaxing relaxation zone. Impeccable food, which may soon be an integral part of our cuisine, with non-profit activities. You’ll see and try out (clean and green) technology for yourself, ethically apply your makeup or charge your phone with solar power. And read a bestselling second-hand book to boot.

FutureFest 2030 is not a dry exposition, nor are we pulling a t-shirt on you. There are powerful stories and visions behind everything that makes up this zone. And you’ll be able to meet their bearers and carriers either at one of the points or on the Solar or Conference stage.

The whole zone has 5 pillars:

SOLAR STAGE
Goes to the sun and puts out loads of energy! In the afternoon you will meet dazzling personalities sharing their success story. The evenings are dedicated to music stars: shining and igniting. And the nights will draw you in with the energetic beams of fresh musical (and often secret) shows.

Come and relax in a cool upcycled sitting/lounging area. Recharge your batteries in the luxuriously stocked gastro zone or bars. Recharge your chip bracelet cashlessly with your KB Visa card and get a bonus of up to 200 CZK.

You’ll leave refreshed and invigorated. And with the feeling that you’ve peeked into the future: of the festival, of society and of yourself. The festival is brought to you by Komerční banka in cooperation with Visa. Renewable energy is provided by StableCam with the EcoLabel brand.

FUTURECITY 2030
We are building on renewable materials. We are looking for (and finding) ways to incorporate recycled waste into the Komerční banka zone. And, of course, renewable energy.

We’re showing what blue-green infrastructure can mean in cities and towns, or what clean and responsible mobility will look like.

We zoom in on how important design and architecture is in shaping how we feel. Not to mention greenery or shading, which we really didn’t skimp on in the KB FutureFest 2030 zone.

The whole zone is actually a smaller version of the city of the future. The whole thing is powered by clean energy: solar panels from EcoFlow filled its batteries a week before the festival, and the DEVINN hydrogen generator is already a proven energy pillar of the festival.

Thanks to Komerční banka │ VISA in the 2030 Festival City, you will recharge yourself, your mobile device and your chip-enabled wristbands, be refreshed and inspired by discussion topics, and enchanted by unconventional musical performances. Come and join us, we have enough energy for everyone!

By shopping at the Cafe and Bar you are contributing and a good deed!

Thank you for joining us in helping those who find life more than they can bear and are unable to enjoy this great festival, even though they would like to. With every drink you buy, you contribute 5 Kč and with every coffee you buy 10 Kč to help single parents in difficult life situations. You can find out more about the Komerční banka Foundation’s project Jistota on this page.

And that’s not all. From the comfort of the built-in chill-out seating/lying area, you can enter competitions for Rock for People 2024 tickets, airpods and many other prizes, sharing photos via Instagram to watch on the ice screen of the main KB stage of the festival. Check out the #Heshteg and contest rules at the zone, we look forward to seeing you there!

FUTUREPOWER 2030
Did you know that Rock for People aims to be independent of fossil fuels by 2030? Every year we get closer to that commitment. This year, it’s taking a big step, with new festival partners and installations. Want to know what it’s like next to the Solar Stage? Or how we charge the electric TOYOTS next to the Conference Stage? Read on…

DEVINN
We believe in hydrogen! For the third year in a row. And we are still improving with the visionaries from the purely Czech engineering and development company DEVINN.

So in 2023, we’re going for 30 kW of power thanks to the H2BASE hydrogen generator. We generate electricity from green hydrogen. Which is one that is not generated from fossil fuels, but by clean electrolysis using renewable energy sources. Unique! It powers the Conference Stage and other elements of our KB FutureFest 2030 zone. The fleet of clean mobility partner TOYOTA. And, in fact, us.

If you find a moment, drop by the DEVINN technicians. They’ll describe with passion and enthusiasm (and even in several languages) the whole of this amazing device, which may be a common feature in public buildings, apartment buildings and houses in 2030. All you need is photovoltaic panels, an energy storage tank, a few other components and you have an off-grid (island) energy solution at home!

Are you already standing in front of the DEVINN point? And you can see that you can’t hear anything! Oh, and if you’re thirsty, feel free to take a sip of pure H2O from the H2BASE!

CLEAN SOLAR ENERGY FROM ECOFLOW (STABLECAM)
The EcoFlow brand is present at the festival on five levels and several pilot projects (air conditioning for VIP tents, backstage air conditioning, solar charging for ECO CARS commercial vehicles, etc.). Everything that the festival uses, you can have too – at home, at work, in the motorhome and anywhere else. KB Point can help you with how to finance your purchase. You might find them in the tent next to the Solar Stage. Or anytime at KB Advisory.

KB Solar Stage
The first island music stage in the Czech Republic, powered by a 12.8 kWp photovoltaic power plant.

Two EcoFlow Power Kits with a total output of 7.2 kW power the music equipment and lights. The energy from the photovoltaic power plant is used during the day to power the music stage and is also stored in LiFePO4 batteries with a capacity of 30 kWh.

The maximum power consumption of the entire stage is calculated at approx. 3,618 kW (2x D.A.S. Avant 118a subwoofer + 4x D.A.S. Convert 12a speaker + 8x Martin Rush Par1 RGBW light + 1x ThinkPad). From sunset onwards, the music stage will be able to play non-stop on maximum battery power for 7.5 hours – that is, until about 02:30.

The container bar and café in the KB FutureFest 2030 zone will be powered by portable EcoFlow DELTA Pro battery stations. Each bar will be equipped with a pair of stations with a total capacity of 7.2 kW and the capacity of each bar will be 10.8 kWh with extra LiFePO4 batteries. Each bar will be powered by a smaller photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 2.4 kWp. The bars will be powered by EcoFlow DELTA Pro to power lights, refrigerators, taps, coffee machines and other bar equipment.

At the entrance to the campground, you will find an EcoFlow rental station where you can rent battery stations to recharge all of your electronics. Rentals will be free, but against a rental agreement (ID, signature).

Ten VIP tents are equipped with the first travel fridge (38L fridge capacity) with a battery-powered ice maker – the EcoFlow Glacier. The tents are also equipped with portable battery stations EcoFlow RIVER 2 Max.

The KB FutureFest 2030 zone features 15 kiosks where you can charge your phones and other technology over a drink. USB-C and Lightning cables will be brought out to the counter. The charging kiosks are designed as bar stations. The base of the kiosk houses EcoFlow DELTA Max battery stations, and will be recharged from EcoFlow’s foldable bi-faceted 220Wp solar panels, which also act as a sunshade on the kiosk.

Bottom line:

Total PV output of the structure next to the Solar Stage – 12.8 kWp
Estimated PV production for the Solar Stage – 50 to 60 kWh per day, so we will be managing surplus
Additional PV panels can be found above the bar containers (2.4 to 4.8 kWp per bar)
Panel inclination is 45°, orientation is SE
Battery capacity – 30 kWh (six LFP batteries of 5 kWh each)

UCEEB CTU
But that’s not all in FuturePower 2030! Towards the wall you can visit the armoured tent of the University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings of the CTU in Prague (UCEEB). “Healthy buildings, smart cities” is the motto of the exhibition. The patents and solutions developed in this centre in Bushehr are already part of many buildings. And they are increasingly penetrating cities.

FUTURETALKS 2030
We believe in dialogue. That’s why we have dedicated a separate part of the KB FutureFest 2030 zone to stimulating meetings with important and inspiring personalities who are active in the public space. Whether in the non-profit or business world. This builds on the great success of the moderated discussions and presentations we first tried on a larger scale in 2021.

So who can you meet in the afternoon and early evening on the Solar or Conference stage? Prokop Pithart, a promising Czech naturalist, Tereza Kobkova and Lukáš “Lukefry” Fritscher, Toy Box and Ben Cristovao, Janek Rubes and Honza Špaček, Lukáš Hejlík, Adam Táborský, Taste of Prague or … Michal Thomes!

The responsible form of business will be presented by Roman Lauš from Mewery, Jan Čilík from Tierra Verde, Jitka Haubová from KB, Pavel Zedníček from INCIEN, Dominik Gazdoš, founder of Knihobot, Martin Peleška, director of TOYOTA, Luboš Hajský from DEVINN, Ludmila Jakubcová from LUSH or Petr Báča from the successful MIWA concept.

The exact programme can be found here.

And if you can’t catch our guests on stage, there will certainly be an opportunity to chat with them on the premises. Many of them will spend four whole days at Rock for Peope!

FUTUREFOOD 2030
Festivals are all about sausages, langos and beer, right? Oh no… Anyone who goes to Rock for People knows that the food and drink offerings are the equivalent of the hipster aisle of your average European metropolis.

But what you’ll experience in the KB FutureFest 2030 zone foreshadows trends for years to come. In quality, in ingredients, in story. And, in fact, the arrangements.

You’ll find sprinkled Zemanka circular biscuits at the MIWA snack station, artistically recycled LandCraft spirits, designer vegetable burgers from Soyka, rich protein bombs from Mr. Hrášek of the EMCO family, renowned artisanal ice cream from Puro Gelato, artful vegetable sushi from Foxy Rolls, a tastefully refined menu from the Palo Verde stars, or cricket protein from Sens, which is also favored by climber Adam Ondra. And many more – from hearty classics to filigree pieces.

Because we believe that one path to responsibility and health is through the stomach, we’ve joined forces with ProVeg. It has become this year’s festival partner for a more diverse plant-based offering.

And a tip for the end: on Sunday 11 June at 16.00 on the Conference Stage you will see what the world has never seen before! Roman Lauš from the progressive start-up MEWERY will present live the first Czech sausage grown / raised in a laboratory!

FUTUREYOU 2030
Those of us who come to Rock for People regularly know the space we devote to inclusion, breaking down barriers and opening up issues that resonate among us. This year will be no different. So, alongside the many moderated debates, you can get to know a number of non-profit or charity activities in the KB FutureFest 2030 zone.

Much of what we have in store for you this year is also related to mental hygiene and mindfulness. So there will be yoga classes, meditation exercises and outdoor workouts.

Because we believe that one way to a better self is to help others, we have invited non-profits or foundations that have been doing this well for years to come to the festival. Thanks to them, there is a safety net for those in need, lives, nature, health, safety and relationships are saved and an active civil society is fulfilled.

Below you will find some of those that make up the engaged portion of this year’s Rock for People. Some can be found in the KB FutureFest 2030 zone, others at the CT Art Stage.
